Welcome!

Starting therapy can be incredibly challenging experience from having to navigate complicated systems, as well as finding the right therapist for you. I pride myself on creating a space that is warm, inviting, and nonjudgemental; after all, as a therapist who has received therapy myself, I know just how daunting this journey is, and I aim to be as supportive as possible throughout the process.

I have over five years of clinical experience and have worked in a wide variety of settings, such as (but not limited to): psychiatric hospitals and crisis stabilization units, community and nonprofit agencies, homeless shelters, transitional living centers, college campuses, and public school systems.

My professional experience includes:

  • Grief and loss (including complicated and traumatic loss)

  • Trauma and religious trauma

  • Depression and anxiety

  • Women’s issues

  • Postpartum depression and anxiety

  • Body image and disordered eating

  • Sexual orientation/identity

  • Gender identity and expression

Education and Background:

I hold two counseling licenses in FL and GA; I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (MH22156) and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC016639).

I’ve also attained my Certified Advanced Grief Counseling Specialist in 2024, as well as my certification in Basic Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). I often utilize ART to process grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, and many other mental health symptoms.

Additionally, I graduated from Emmanuel University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and from the University of North Florida with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am a current Doctoral student at the University of West Georgia in Professional Counseling and Supervision.
